Cloth Diapering 101 Class at Milagros, Saturday, November 27 at 11 am.
Thinking about cloth diapers? Have questions? Have tips to share? Come to for an introduction to cloth diapering. This casual gathering is a great opportunity to learn all about cloth diapering, get hands-on advice on diapering choices, etc. It is also a chance to meet other parents who are using cloth diapers or thinking about it. FREE, no RSVP required!

BirthMatters Pregnancy Support Group, Tuesday, November 16, 6:30pm: This support group is a safe gathering place for pregnant moms to talk without judgment or embarrassment. We meet every third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at Milagros. Free, no RSVP required. More info.
MusikGarten Demo Class, Wednesday, November 17, 11:00am: FREE! A fun music class for small children and their caregivers. Come sing, dance and play with instruments with your little one and others. Meet other families and join in the fun of group music making. For ages infant through 3 ½ and their caregivers. Come join us!

Shadow Puppet Theatre, Friday, November 19, 10:30am: David Freleng brings his Shadow Puppet Theatre to Milagros every Friday at 10:30am! David’s performances are interactive, kids help act out the plays and games. Children are encouraged to let their creativity and imagination run rampant as they are in control of what happens in the story. Suggested donation is $3 per walking human.
VBAC Info Session with Dena Holstrom, RN, Sunday, November 21, 2:00pm:Come discover what VBACs are all about from a labor and delivery nurse who has experienced a successful VBAC herself! Hormone levels, muscle tension and balance are three of the biggest proponents of this transitional time. Come join us for this one hour class as we open the hips and heart, strengthen the lower extremities, and find new balance and connection within our mind and body. We are joining many other locally owned business this Saturday to support a local family in need.
Six-year old Makenzie Shirey is battling a severe case of pancreatitis, we are hopeful that she returns to good health soon. However, her family is facing enormous medical bills along with the stress of their child’s illness.
Milagros is donating 20 percent of every sale on November 13 to help support the Shirey family during this challenging time.
In addition to this commitment by Milagros, may other local businesses are gathering tomorrow for a special event sale and fundraiser at Purple Moon, 3211 NE Broadway, Portland.
We are blessed to live in a loving, supportive community. Thank you for being part it!

Mister Hoo of The Alphabeticians returns to Milagros for his regular visit tomorrow, November 10, at 11am.
Mister Hoo (Jeff Inlay) is just 3 years shy of 47 and, though familiar with the alphabet since childhood, has only grown to love it in recent years. A father of 2 and resident of West Linn, he has been in more bands than he can count (although he claims he can only count to 3), but is most well known for playing in Portland 90′s sensation Hummingfish, and is least well known for his time in Southern California punk band the Mendicant Sauciers. He’s also confident he was not in Led Zeppelin.
Come sing some songs with the Mister at Milagros tomorrow at 11am! $3 suggested donation per walking human for the artist.

Infant CPR for New Parents at 6:00pm on Tuesday: Join Red Cross instructor Art Graves for a special CPR and first aid class designed for new parents. You are welcome to bring your baby with you to this class.
Class fee is $25 and registration is required. To register contact Shelley or Carolina at the Oregon Trail Chapter of the Red Cross at 503.280.1440 and let them know they are registering for the “New Parents” class at Milagros.
