Here’s a fun Halloween event for the preschool set! Our dear neighbor Yvonne de Maat of Heart in Hand Preschool is presenting a Puppet Play at Milagros that is perfect for the season: The Hobgoblin!
Don’t worry, it’s not scary! It is a perfect Halloween story for the youngest children (ages 3 to 6). A naughty little hobgoblin likes to play tricks on the farmer’s children, but they come up with a clever plan to chase the hobgoblin back to his rocky den!
This fun and free event is on Wednesday, October 27 at 4pm.
Speaking of Halloween, if you have a costume from last year or before that you are ready to move on, we are collecting costumes for local youth in the area in need. Bring your old costume in for a chance to win a free massage!

The Alphabeticians are coming to Milagros!
Who are The Alphabeticians? Mister Hoo and Mister E.
They have been playing music together for over 25 years, and are veterans of the Portland music scene. Together they play mostly original, upbeat, family appropriate songs, including songs about numbers, size, dads, metaphors, extinct fish and multiple alphabet songs…
Two guitars, two voices, a toy piano, some random percussion devices, what could possibly go wrong?
Catch The Alphabeticians at Milagros on Thursday, July 8, 10:30am. $3 suggested donation per walking human for the artists.
See you there!

Please join us October 2, 8 pm at Milagros and take part in a worldwide screening event of the Academy Award-winning film ‚ÄúBorn into Brothels‚Äù to raise funds to build the film’s legacy project, Hope House — a safe haven where girls from Calcutta’s red light district can come to live, go to school, and develop the strength and skills to change their own circumstances.
We hope you can join us for a wonderful night of film, wine, sundries, and conversation. Because of the nature of this film, babes in arms only please — no children otherwise.
As this is a benefit for Hope House, we are requesting a tax-deductible donation of $15 for each guest and $25 for a couple. We can each be the change we want to see in the world by helping to make a direct impact on more children like those you will meet in this incredible film.
Space is limited so please RSVP by emailing us at rsvp@milagrosboutique.com
Thank you and hope to see you Friday!
Can’t make it? Consider making a direct donation to Hope House.
