Infant CPR for New Parents at 6:00pm on Tuesday: Join Red Cross instructor Art Graves for a special CPR and first aid class designed for new parents. You are welcome to bring your baby with you to this class.

Trick or Treat at Milagros on Halloween! Fear not,there’s no sugar in our shop’s treat bowl! Just come in anytime during store hours on Halloween (11am – 5pm) and your kids can get a free fun wooden Milagros top or a special Milagros Pirate Tattoo! Costumes are welcome, of course, but not required. No purchase is necessary.

Birth Preparation Workshop at Milagros
Sunday November 7th 10:30am-3:30pm
Come together with other pregnant families to learn techniques to help labor and birth unfold as a celebration and loving event. Non-traditional and traditional families are welcome. In this workshop we will:
- Learn coping techniques for each phase or stage of labor
- Use movement and breath activities to work with your contractions
- Learn what hormones are naturally involved in the birth process and how to work with them
- Learn the 3 R’s developed by Penny Simkin and how to use sound and movement in cope with labor
- Partners will gain knowledge of what they can do in labor to help the process unfold lovingly
- Practice Meditations, mantras and guided imagery to deal with the intensity of labor
- Complete art activities and discussion to prepare for the changes that go along with becoming a parent
- Share in a potluck lunch with other participants
