Abby’s Closet Prom Gown Giveway is Coming

If you know a teen in need, want to volunteer to help make the magic happen, or if you want to donate a gown for this giveaway, here is what’s up:

The 6th ANNUAL PROM GOWN GIVEAWAY dates are April 10-11, 2010 at our new location: The DoubleTree Hotel (Exhibit Hall)-Lloyd Center.

Saturday, April 10, 2010: 8:00 am — 5:00 pm
Sunday, April 11, 2010: 10:00 am — 2:00 pm

Abby’s Closet hosts an annual gown giveaway event. The gowns are FREE to high school woman. The only requirement is that the students show a high school ID card. As young women arrive, they are given a numbered ticket and told the approximate time they will be able to enter the salon area, where over 4000 dresses in sizes 0-26 are available to choose from. Volunteers will be on hand to help the young women.
