The Cloth Diapering 101 classes at Milagros are casual gatherings where participants learn all about cloth diapering and get hands-on advice on diapering choices from one of Milagros’ expert staffers. It is also a chance to meet other parents who are using cloth diapers or thinking about it.

The City of Portland has been working hard to secure funding for Sunday Parkways and we are ready to do our part… with your help!
We will donate 25 percent of all our sales at Milagros on Wednesday, May 2nd to support the 2012 Sunday Parkways.
Even though we aren’t a bike business, Sunday Parkways reflect our values as a business and as a family. The Parkways are special community events that help neighbors get connected and enjoy the health benefits of biking and walking in a fun way.
Supporting local community events & schools has been an on-going mission for Milagros but we can’t do it without you!
How can you help? Easy peasy! Come shop at Milagros on Wednesday, May 2nd in our Portland Boutique or on-line and tell all your friends to do the same! The more shoppers we see the more we can to do support Sunday Parkways.
So come get some great locally made baby swag and support a wonderful event on May 2nd! Win win!
P.S. The first Sunday Parkways this year is in NE Portland on May 13th. Milagros will be closed for Mother’s Day but our Fox Chase neighbors would love to see you. Many will be having special deals plus there are two bike corrals and other bike parking in the area. So come see your friends on the corner!

Little Kids Jamboree at Milagros!, Wednesday, April 25th, 10:30am: Lorna Miller’s Little Kids’ Jamboree is an interactive fun, music event for families with little ones up to the ages of eight years. The whole family gets into the act. Simple rhythm instruments are provided, singing, movement and imagination is all a part of the Jamboree. Suggested donation, $3 per walking person.
Nursing Mothers Counsel Breastfeeding Preparation Class at Milagros, Thursday, April 26th, 6:00pm: Breastfeeding is the most natural and healthy way to feed your baby, but it does not always come naturally. Learn how to initiate a successful breastfeeding relationship. Topics include: benefits of breastfeeding, proper latch, how often to breastfeed, common early problems or concerns, troubleshooting.
