Diaper Free Meeting at Milagros, Wednesday, May 16th, 2:00pm: Diaper Free Baby of Portland is a local, free support group that helps promote a natural approach to responding to babies’ elimination needs. This practice is followed worldwide and is known as Elimination Communication, Natural Infant Hygiene, and Infant Potty Training. The process involves observing one’s baby’s signs and signals, providing cue sounds and elimination-place associations, and can be done with or without any diaper use.

Portland Metro Mocha Moms Chat and Playgroup, Sunday, May 20th, 2:00pm: Join the Portland Metro Mocha Moms for good conversation and good company. This support group meeting (aka chat and plays) allows moms to discuss important parenting (and personal) issues while the children play! Mocha Moms, is a support group for mothers of color. Anyone who supports the mission of Mocha Moms is welcome!

Yakuza Mother’s Day Event, Sunday May 13th, 5:00pm: Our neighbors Yakuza have a sweet event happening. Moms enjoy a relaxing 20-minute chair massage, hand-crafted cocktail of their choice and 3 delectable courses from our Salads, Plates and Rolls Menu. Try the Kale Salad, Seared Miso Cod, or the legendary Yakuza Burger along with our Really Spicy, Salmon Avocado or Pear Jalapeno Rolls. Top it off with a post-meal relaxing soak in the garden’s soaking tub.
