moshi-baby.jpg You will find a great selection of baby carriers at Milagros. We have tried all the varieties and pride ourselves on providing expert advice for your selection as well as assistance with being successful with any carrier you use - it doesn’t matter if you purchased it here.

We are also very proud to offer a wonderful selection of high-quality locally-made baby slings and carriers including the Yummy Mummy,  and now the stylish, ergonomic, and functional Moshi Baby™Carrier!

The Moshi is made by local mama Milli and the photo is of her and her little miracle, Jordan. The Moshi allows you to carry your child on front, hips and back. It provides great great lumbar support while minimizing overall bulk

All the fun Moshi Carrier styles are hand-made and limited editions, Milli does a great job of selecting some eye-catching designs and complementing them with other colors but once a fabric is gone, it’s gone!

We recently began carrying mei-tei carriers made by local mom, Gillian Grimm: Yummy Mummy Wraps! These fun, versatile, and stylish wraps come in a variety of lovely fabric combinations and are packaged in cute “to go” containers.

And this is a great carrier for being on the go! Like the other mei-tei carriers we offer at Milagros (including the Maya Tie by Maya Wrap), the Yummy Mummy Wrap allows you to wear your little miracle on your front, your back and even on your hip. The length of the carrier straps makes the Yummy Mummy suitable for a wide range of body types, so a single carrier can usually work for more than one parent/caregiver.

So if you are yummy, or want to be, here is the perfect carrier for you!

bc6g.jpgJust in at Milagros! Black Ergo with Green Liner!

The ERGO Baby Carrier is a truly a must have for being out and about with your infant or toddler. It’s innovate design makes wearing your baby comfortable hours at a time, gives you the freedom to remain active and productive in your daily life, and holds your baby secure to your body so your hands are free.

The ERGO Baby Carrier’s ergonomic design supports a correct sitting position for the baby’s hip, pelvis and spine growth. It disperses most of the baby’s weight between the hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine when hanging by the crotch which most other designs require. The ERGO also balances the baby’s weight to parents’ hips and shoulders, and alleviates physical stress for the parent.

With the ERGO you can wear your child in the front, back, or on your hip. In conjuction with an infant insert, it can be used right from day one but is can used without the insert from about 5 months on. On to when? Well, the Ergo carrier is rated to 60 lbs! We used it with Mila from age 1 to 3 and still take it as “back-up” on hikes (she is now 4 1/2 years old!)

This latest color combination joins our other Ergo selections: Black with cranberry, Blue with tan, blue with green, tan with Tan, cranberry with cranberry and all colors with the critter print liner.

9-12-07 UPDATE: We no longer have carriers with critter prints. Ergo discontinued that style. We do have a limited selection of the blue with seersucker print in stock

1-31-08 Update: The limited edition seersucker print is sold out. We do now have both the Brown and Green Organic Ergos available in addition to all the standard solid color combinations.
