Mister Hoo of The Alphabeticians, Friday, November 25, 11:00am: Mister Hoo (Jeff Inlay), though familiar with the alphabet since childhood, has only grown to love it in recent years. A father of 2 and resident of West Linn, he has been in more bands than he can count (although he claims he can only count to 3), but is most well known for playing in Portland 90’s sensation Hummingfish, and is least well known for his time in Southern California punk band the Mendicant Sauciers. Join him every Friday at 11:00am at Milagros! Suggested donation is $3 per walking human.
Get Triple Supportland Points at Milagros! Friday November 25 – 26! Shop at Milagros on Black Friday and/or Small Business Saturday, swipe your Supportland card and get triple reward points! Don’t have a Supportland card? Don’t fret, get a card at Milagros (they are free!) and start gettingrewarded at Portland’s best locally-owned, indie businesses.
Cloth Diapering 101, Saturday, November 26, 11:00am: The Cloth Diapering 101 classes at Milagros are casual gatherings where participants learn all about cloth diapering and get hands-on advice on diapering choices from one of Milagros’ expert staffers. It is also a chance to meet other parents who are using cloth diapers or thinking about it.
Why choose cloth? No garbage, the least expensive (I guess other than going diaper free), and chemical-free. Cloth diapering choices are pin-free and easy and you can save thousands of dollars just by choosing cloth diapers over disposable options. Free! No RSVP required.
