4out of 5

Gift: No

Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Easy To Clean

Cons: Not durable

Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping

Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer

What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist

After purchasing this cook set two years, it has been the only one I use (mine didn’t have the forks – btw) It’s lightweight, easy to clean and the pot is big enough for packtrips as well as car camping trips with the family.

The tab on the pot lid is my only quibble, it isn’t overly secure, my boy tore it off his first encounter with the set.

I have used it for many backpacking trips and it has been our set for family outings as well.

We are a family of four and use all four bowls for trips together – weekend backpack trips, local car camping excursions, a couple weeks of camping on Kauai.

Bottom-line: The dualist is simple, compact, light and cheap. Hard to find a better cook set investment.
