Knitting Circle for the Hats and Scarves Project, Monday, July 5, 7pm: Come and start a knitting project to support the Hats and Scarves Project. Knit, crochet, or sew warm hats and scarves for families in need throughout our area. All are welcome to come and knit at this social circle, please bring a project to work on. More info.
Mr. Ben, Tuesday, July 6, 10:30am: Join Mr. Ben for music and fun at Milagros every Tuesday at 10:30am. Suggested donation is $3 per walking human.
Meet and Play at Milagros, Wednesday, July 7, 10:00am: An open group of families that meets once a week at kid-friendly locations around Portland. They also host potlucks, moms’ nights out, and book group meetings. These gathering are open to all and they are always looking for new members to take part. No RSVP required. Self Portrait Art Class Series Begins, Thursday, July 8, Noon: Children will learn basic portrait drawing skills and will have an opportunity to create self portraits in a few different mediums in this five week art class series! Creating Art with Found Objects, Thursday, July 8, 1:30pm: Children will learn how to find beauty in the things ordinary people call junk as they hunt for treasures at home! We will draw/create self portraits, dream houses, and anything else that our imaginations can think of! $10 fee for class and materials.
