Just like the angsty poetry that inspired it…
… our idea for Angstfest was far from original. In fact, there is a book and live event series dedicated to showcasing the wonder of teenage longing: Mortified. Suddenly, this recent exchange about Angstfest is much more understandable:
“So were you inspired by Mortified?”
“Nah, it’s cool. I’ll be among friends and I’m used to public speaking.”
“Ummm, okay….”
Anyhoo, if you missed Angstfest and are in need of an angst fix (who isn’t!), Mortified live will be in Portland this Friday.
