Diaper Free Baby of Portland is a local, free support group that helps promote a natural approach to responding to babies’ elimination needs. Introduction to Connected Parenting, Wednesday, January 20, 6pm: This class focuses on the primacy of connection in parenting young children. Respectful limit setting, developmental norms, listening to childrens’ feelings, resolving sibling conflicts, and many practical ideas about what to do instead of being either an authoritarian or a permissive parent will be discussed. Cloth Diapering 101 Class, Saturday, January 23, 11 am: Thinking about cloth diapers? Have questions? Have tips to share? Come to for an introduction to cloth diapering. This casual gathering is a great opportunity to learn all about cloth diapering, get hands-on advice on diapering choices, etc. It is also a chance to meet other parents who are using cloth diapers or thinking about it.
