Christmas is coming soon! Our kids are brimming with excitement about the big day. We made our annual trip to Beck’s farm to select our tree, a mish-mash of holiday lights now adorn the house, and plenty of kissing is happening under the mistletoe.
We are serving a lot of holiday shoppers at Milagros, we have many unique, locally made gift options with choices for any budget. Of course we are also getting our own shopping completed (Mila wants Santa to bring her a computer or an iPod, but it turns out that St. Nick doesn’t traffic in high end electronics, hmmm…).
Anyhoo, this got us reminiscing about our own childhood holiday gifts. Lots of great memories like Tony’s beloved Evel Knivel stunt cycle.

That is Mila’s first encounter with Santa. This took place in Guene, Texas home of the oldest dance hall in the state. We caught some awesome live music there while in town.
