MEPC’s TEA & Topic Discussion for October’s Meetup:
There is great need for Our group, here in Portland - where many families of color feel isolated living in non-diverse neighborhoods & mainstream media portrays “The ideal American beauty” to be ~ blond & blue-eyed only. How do We as Parents give to our children of color a healthy sense of self & to embrace diversity? We welcome all who support our mission in joining us for this important discussion on “What It Means to Raise A Healthy Child Of Color”
About MEPC: We are a group of mothers of color whose intent is to create community, share resources & grow friendships between other mothers of color & their children. MEPC welcomes everyone who’s in support of our mission to join this group discussion.
