Yachats…again?
Posted by milagros under Milagros News
Yes, again…we really can’t help ourselves. There was a post on UM recently about where to head within 4 hours of town, guess what we suggested?
We went to Yachats again last month (that is the third trip this year for those who are counting). What did we find? Yachats rocks any time of year. Even during the “peak season”, it is delightfully laid-back and unassuming.
Some new highlights from this most recent trip included touring the lighthouse keepers house at Heceta Head, picking salmonberries in the Rock Creek area, learning about coastal geology from a ranger at the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center - thanks Avery!, and then searching for Oregon Coast Agates on the local beaches.
Of course we also fit in a lot things that have become a “tradition” when we hit the coast…Yes, we are smitten…

Yachats is our FAVORITE spot on the Oregon Coast! We love the area right in front of the Overleaf Lodge. No beach…just the hardened lava/volcanic flow. We spend hours and hours exploring and taking photos. I can’t wait to take our 6 month old daughter there and walk around all day with her slung up in the Moby we bought at your fine, fine shop!

Definitely! We love that area as well.
Gael was six months old the first time we went to Yachats. He spent a lot time traveling around there in a wrap
Enjoy!
