Bumkins: USA Made and PVC Free!
Perhaps the only good thing about the recent safety recalls is that it has reminded us that we need to ask questions, check labels and be our own best advocates as consumers and parents.
One of our principles in creating Milagros was to provide a shopping environment where parents could feel at-ease and know that the products being offered were safe and ethically made. As noted previously, all of our wood toys are USA made. Another area of concern has been bib safety because some “made in China” bibs have been recalled due to lead paint. Also some bibs out there are made of PVC. As with our wood toys, all the bibs we carry at Milagros are made with pride in the USA.
The only line of manufactured bibs we carry are Bumkins and Baby Bjorn bibs (other bibs we offer are made locally by crafty mamas). We thought we would share some information on the production of Bumkins bibs from the manufacturer:

In light of recent product recalls, Bumkins would like to remind customers that all our products, including our waterproof items, are all PVC, vinyl and phthalate free! This includes our SuperBibs, aprons, art smocks, cloth diapers and covers. Additionally, all our waterproof products are MADE IN THE USA with American-made fabric!
