Baby Rock!
We were in a store somewhere and heard Led Zepplin’s “Kashmir” coming over the stereo….except it was….ummm, soothing? like a lullaby?
It turns out that’s because it WAS a lullaby! There is a series of “Rockabye Baby” CDs where they have taken indie, metal, and classic rock songs and crafted them into surprisingly radiant instrumental lullabies.
And yes, we HAD to get them for Milagros!
Like to get the Led out? So can your little miracle! Metallica fan? We got you covered! Into Radiohead or the Ramones? Yep. Nirvana? Heck yea! Beatles, Bob Marley, The Cure, U2, Pink Floyd…
Yes, your baby can be “rocking” to sleep to any of these! Each disc is packed with classics from these luminary bands.
Gael is loving the Zepplin disc. Even now I can see him as a young man, perhaps away from home for the first time and telling his buddies “I sure love to listen to Zepplin. It always relaxes me and reminds me of home…” Well, a dad can dream right? Peace!
