Baby Rock!
We were in a store somewhere and heard Led Zepplin’s “Kashmir” coming over the stereo….except it was….ummm, soothing? like a lullaby?
It turns out that’s because it WAS a lullaby! There is a series of “Rockabye Baby” CDs where they have taken indie, metal, and classic rock songs and crafted them into surprisingly radiant instrumental lullabies. […]

The Portland Horse Project
A couple of years ago Scott Wayne Indiana decided to tie a toy pony to a horse ring in Portland’s Pearl District.

Transportation Funding Townhall Meetings
Commissioner Adams and the Portland Department of Transportation are considering how to fund Portland’s street maintenance. The streets in Portland are in a sad state of repair, according to PDOT:
Of 3941 miles of Portland streets, 32% of arterials in poor condition
Of 157 bridges, 22% in poor condition
